Refund policy

At Michi Pawtisserie, we take great care in preparing and packing our products. Due to the nature of our items, our refund and return policy differs between food products and merchandise.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy
All orders are carefully inspected before dispatch. As we sell both perishable food items and physical merchandise, different refund conditions apply depending on the product type.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds or returns that do not meet the conditions stated in this policy.
2. Dehydrated Pet Treats (Made-to-Order)
Due to the handmade and perishable nature of dehydrated treats:
- All sales are final
- Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started
- We do not accept returns for change of mind
Refunds or replacements may only be issued if:
- The item is incorrect (wrong product sent)
- The item is damaged upon arrival
- The item is deemed defective due to production error
3. Freeze-Dried Pet Treats (Ready Stock)
Freeze-dried treats are pre-made and ready stock items.
Refunds or returns are only accepted if:
- The item received is incorrect
- The item arrives damaged or defective
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect storage or handling after delivery
4. Pet Merchandise (e.g. Clothing & Accessories)
For non-food items such as pet clothing and accessories:
We accept returns or exchanges only under the following conditions:
- The item is defective or damaged upon arrival
- The wrong item was sen
- Inaccurate size. Please contact us
To be eligible for a return:
- You must contact us within 24–48 hours of receiving the item
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Damage caused after use
5. Refund Process
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are only available for:
- Incorrect items sent
- Defective or damaged merchandise
We do not offer exchanges for food products due to safety and hygiene reasons.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item).
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
8. Order Issues
If there is any issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
- Description of the issue
Late claims may not be eligible for review.
9. Cancellations
Orders for dehydrated (made-to-order) treats cannot be cancelled once production begins.
Freeze-dried treats and merchandise orders may only be cancelled before they are packed or shipped.
